A Rose and a Smile and a prayer for U Darwin

I forgot to share that Darwin shared so much history about the Moore House and of Villisca. All his stuff in that place he knew about it all and was loved sharing whatever questions we asked him. His love for his store and had a story to go with them all. I have no doubt Darwin loved his family, his kids, people and his friends. He smiled most the time and you could tell he was a very loving and

Darwin was a wonderful man and he says he remembered my mom ( Connie C Prucka) as Darlene & Charlie Coy's daughter from talk around town. As my Mother was born & raised there. We had a love for ghost hunting and trying to find the turth. We was there at the Villisca old movie house as they use to call it when the movie came out about the Villisca Axe Murder House. He wouldn't let us pay to go

Such a warm, friendly, and unforgettable guy. Like so many others, I met him at the museum he ran before I took my first tour of the Moore home. There's certain people where one can safely assume they're genuine, and Darwin was certainly one of them.
With sadness that he has passed, and Hope that he is resting in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with Martha and family. I grew up with the Linn family at the softball field where Darwin and my dad, Lawrence Palma, played many, many softball games and tourneys together. Margaret (Maggie) and I also spent a lot of time together in Massena as well as playing each other in sports. Please know that Darwin touched many lives - those still close to home and many farther away as well. Sincerely, Diane (Palma) Faris

Darwin was one of a very few great men and fathers. He made an impact on almost everyone he met, including me. I was one of the fortunate ones to have had him in my life even though it was such a short time. He and his family will remain in my heart forever. I am very sorry for your loss. I hope you will heal from it soon. He will be missed by many!

Sincerely,
Kristy Premer
